We meet on the second Wednesday of every month at Marlcombe Church Hall. Talks start at 7.30pm and usually run an hour with questions afterwards. Guests are welcome at every meeting and do not need to book.

Guests and visitors
Members go free. Guests pay £3 on the door, which includes tea and biscuits in the interval. If you are thinking about joining, coming to a talk first is the sensible way to decide.
New to family history?
The December open evening is the one to come to. Bring a name and a rough idea of where the family lived, and somebody will sit down with you and point you at the right records. No experience assumed.
The workshop in November
This one runs in the afternoon rather than the evening, and numbers are capped so that everybody gets a document in front of them. Photocopies of real parish entries are provided, from the easy to the frankly illegible. Please let us know in advance if you plan to come.
Finding us
Marlcombe Church Hall is behind the church, with parking for about twenty cars. The hall is on one level and step free. If you need anything else to make a visit work, let us know and we will sort it out.
